Freshly juiced from the mind of Mikey Rae, Legit Concerns reflects the absurdity of the mundane and the hilarity of the existential. Mikey’s drawings and introspective captions conjure the likes of Daniel Johnston, Raymond Pettibon, and Gary Larson.

Though he was born and raised in “The City Different” and has been drawing since kindergarten, Mikey Rae is not your typical Santa Fe artist. Mikey’s illustrations from the hallway and within Meow Wolf’s flagship exhibit, House of Eternal Return depict simple, energetic, and thought-provoking scenes. Whether funny or deep, they are some of the most Instagrammed artworks from the exhibit.
